Cooking instructions: Take your Split Yellow peas, rinse in a sieve until the water runs clear. Boil a 750ml pot of water on the hob, add the peas and season. Bring the water down to a simmer and cook for 40 to 45mins until the peas start to melt together. Add more water when cooking if needed.
Serving suggestion: It’s creamy and smooth texture make it perfect for warming vegetarian dhals, but it’s also a great addition to a winter chicken soup or for combining with other vegetables to create a veggie burger for summer BBQs!
